Add the power of politics, religion and sex to money, and it becomes structural violence. The attack style of our legal and government system, coupled with the materialistically driven religious culture and the legalised sexual abuse industry [a topic for another blog], override the human rights of the people of Aotearoa. In New Zealand, the country which claims to have taken care of women’s rights, my former husband was encouraged, everywhere we went, to force me and the children out of my Kruger Estate and their inheritance. I found that, as a woman, while I was seen to be primarily tending the children, I still had no rights, as unfortunately, professional women joined forces with professional men to put out of business, what appeared to be ‘just a mother.’ My former husband became more and more arrogant as our divorce battle went on, and he was spoon fed the words and strategies for taking what was not his and for abandoning his responsibilities; at best, dumping them on the taxpayer. I must admit that ever since we began dating, back in 1990, he always believed that we were poor while I always believed that we were rich, and so by the time we split up, in 2010, he did it because we were poor and I did it because we were rich! Without going into detail now, I can confirm that I sit with an archive box full of evidence of how chartered accountants, lawyers and bankers simply stopped me from having access to things mine, so much so, that he could even buy his lunch from our joint account while the same account was frozen for me after I dared to pay for an emergency mammogram. He had the salary to pay these so-called professionals!
